Tonight we went to Lamberts, and are to full to move. I don't think I need to explain why! For those who have not been there, it is a special one of a kind all you can eat restaurant. They are most famous for throwing hot rolls at you, and keeping you supplied in fresh fried okra, and iced tea by the gallon! We had to wait 85 minutes to get inside, but well worth it.

In honor of our nephew Evan! You have your own road buddy

Road Trip to Springfield, With a Stop in Kansas!

Well, we made it to Springfield. After a quick stop in Salina, Kansas, we headed here for a week of some meetings and just relaxing time with our co-wrokers. Some highlights in Kansas included, taking the back-roads across Kansas, discovering Kansas is not as flat and brown as one might think. That 2 inch hail can dent a car, and turning the wrong way down a one way road is not smart. But we had fun and got to spend some time with Renee's sister. I will post some pictures here in Missouri soon!

I apologize for only three pictures, but I always forget I have the camera. I do a great job at making sure we bring it every time we travel, but not so good at using it. I will have to improve that by the time the kids come.

Anyway, we had a good weekend in Mitchell. It is a long ways from no where, but the people don't seem to mind! The people are very friendly and we had some good food! A unique experience was driving about 8 miles on gravel, they are doing some repaving outside the city. For someone who is used to living in the country, the gravel is not a big dal, but to a city boy like me, it was different!

We head to Kansas and Missouri on Thursday, so expect to see from pictures from the Mid West soon.

Today we officially turned in the final paperwork, well for now! We gave them a whole bunch of stuff, which included our acceptance letter, acceptance contract, foreign travel release, and a huge check! It was sobering to read some of the language in the contract, especially dealing with wording such as, " total financial, spiritual responsibility for the child." It is such a huge and awesome responsibility! But one we are so ready for!
We spent the day buying things for our amazing boys. Although we are poor now! We had saved some money so we could go crazy buying stuff! Its so much fun!

The pictures are ones that were taken at the adoption agency this morning. They will serve as the beginning of our kids scrap books and photo album!

Kids Room

Our kids room theme is clearly Sesame Street. We are still missing one bed, but otherwise we are all done. We had a lot of fun designing the room, even before we had our first pictures. It is a lot more special now, when we realize our kids will actually be sleeping in there in just a few months!

Our kids

Today about 4:45 pm we received a call for our social worker. We thought nothing of it, just because she has called several times in the past. This time was different, because she said, "this is the call". Renee was on the phone and asked what we were referred with, and she would not tell us, only to check our email. She did let it slip, as I was checking it, that we were getting a sibling group.
I honestly had given up on that idea, but was so excited. This is everything we had prayed for!
We got the call at my Mom's house, which is nice as she was able to look over the development tests with us, and help us see that they are doing great.
They are 2.2 and 3.3 years old. The oldest will be named Tegan and the younger Preston. We will use their Ethiopian names as middle ones, but we can not post them due to ethiopian law.
They are so handsome and in good health, they just need to gain some weight. We are so excited and humbled by Gods faithfulness. Its hard to take it all in right now, I am sure reality will set in soon!

Tillamook and Garibaldi. We had a great time at Garibaldi today.  We are really seeing results with the 200@10. Already we are at 185@10. Thanks You Father!

Hi all,
We have been praying about how we can get our message across better, and how we can get more people to support us on a monthly basis so we can return to China, and we feel Father gave us a good idea. We want to introduce the idea of 200@10.
If we can get 200 people to support us at $10 a month, we will have what we need to return. So if you want to help us, please let me know. We appreciate it so much!
